The “Still Something to Prove” achievement in Left 4 Dead 2 is one of the most difficult, and longest, achievements in the game. In order to gain the “Still Something to Prove” achievement, you’ll have to survive all five campaigns on Expert mode. In L4D2 Expert mode is particularly difficult; friendly fire does a high amount of damage and even normal infected do high damage. Players will have to be particularly vigilant and proceed through each stage slowly. In particular, the Campaign finales will be quite difficult to complete; do not expect all four of your players to survive.
Do to the high level of difficulty in gaining the “Still Something to Prove” achievement, it’s recommended that you play with three real players with low latency (ping) who are familiar both with expert mode and with each others playing style and unique strengths and weaknesses. It’s a good idea to use voice communication in game to make sure you all know what’s going on, and that you all have played through each level on Advanced mode at least a few times.
In order to gain the “Still Something to Prove” achievement, you’ll need to actually survive the finale, not just see your team rescued. Because of this, expect to have to play through each campaign several times, as not all players are likely to survive the campaign finales.
In terms of Left 4 Dead 2 achievements, the “Still Something to Prove” achievement is almost as hard as it gets, but the satisfaction you’ll gain from having it is top-notch.
