The “Ragin’ Cajun” achievement in Left 4 Dead 2 is a fairly straightforward L4D2 achievement to earn; you just have to complete (i.e., survive) the entire Swamp Fever campaign and make it onto the boat during the finale to earn the Ragin’ Cajun achievement. It’s typically easiest to gain this Left 4 Dead 2 achievement on Easy Mode, since you have a greater chance of surviving the finale.
There are reports that Left 4 Dead 2 is somewhat buggy when it comes to players who join a campaign that’s already in progress; therefore, if you’re hell-bent on getting the Ragin’ Cajun achievement, the best way is to start your own Swamp Fever lobby, host locally or simply play through the campaign on Single Player mode to guarantee that you get the Ragin’ Cajun achievement.
