it might sound like a not so well thought through idea at first, but if you think about it, costco has everything you could possibly need, food, survival gear, entertainment. although this will only work if it is built like some of the more low run buildings where the entrances and exits are like garage doors, and have no windows. and as long as you don't plan on staying too long, id say that you could hold up in it for at least a week or two. after that you would probably have to move to the next store. as long as you have already pre-evaluated your escape plan... what do you think?

My friends and i have thought about this and its a really great idea
our plan is to get to the nearest costco or walmart (some store like that) and stay for about a week or two to gather supplies and to get everybody organized

does costco have any stock of any guns?

I thought I said this before on this site, but I guess not.

Any major store is pretty much THE WORST EVER SPOT to go in a zombie invasion. Yes, they can be fortified, yes they have supplies, and yes, it could be used to grow your own food. BUT NONE OF THAT MATTERS!!! How many people are in your town? Divide that by 10. 2/10 will go to the hospital for bite wounds that they don't realize are from zombies. 1/10 will go to police/military stations. 2/10 will either go to a designated safe spot or flee. 1/10 will stay in their homes. and 3/10 will go to the F***ING STORES! The zombies aren't your only problem when panicked people are all trying to buy/steal/loot supplies for their own survival or greed. And you can be damn sure the worst ones are the ones trying to steal supplies.

My plan is pretty much the same thing, Sept i wanna bored up the door's and i wouldent let anyone in sept the people that i went there with. No one come's in or out untill we run outta suplies.
