U.K-England-Dorset-Weymouth/Portland area, survival plan.

Firstly id just like to say wot a amazing site this is. I found this after viewing a video about what to do in a zombie apocalypse and then decided to do a search on google.

Well im from a small seaside area in Dorset, England called Portland which is right next to Weymouth. My plan would be to:

Firstly: Get my family living in my home to collect needy stuff such as medicines, a few items of food and drink, and some household items which could be used as weopens in case of an attack such as a shovel or chair leg e.t.c, before we reach the safe area in which we are going to.

Secondly: Use all the phones in the house which are still in use such as mobiles as the telephone poles may be down at this point in time, if not well use the house phone aswell, to ring all family and close friends such as grandparents, brothers, sisters, parents and cousins, and tell them wot to get and hed to the safe area.

Thirdly: Get the car keys and drive to weymouth (roughly 10 minites drive) and go the ASDA shopping centre (part of the walmart family) and break in through one of the front door, then head to the offices above ground level in ASDA and ring the family members again and say we are at safe area.

Fourthly: Once the family or close friends arrive if anyone atall comes... bordor up the main doors and glass windows (I.E using the metal safety gates as also seen in dawn of the dead) and brake up bits of wood and nail to the walls and any entrances. Collect lots of food and take to the offices which are above ground lvl.

Fithly: two or three of the group goes out into the yard behind ASDAS and hotwires one of there huge delivery trucks, signals to the others to come , which will bring as much food as they can carry. Load the truck up and hed to B&Q the hardware store just up the road.

sixthly: Once arriving at B&Q leave one or two people at the truck (maybe sitting on top for safty so incase of zombies they could signal the others) the others break into the store and get the big trolleys and collect metal sheets, nail guns, chain saws, hammers, nails, welders, generators etc and hed back to the truck.

Seventhly: hed back to the ASDA truck yard (which is surrounded by huge 15ft concrete wals with metal spikes on top and 2 huge steel gates) and begins the process of making safety features onto the truck, such as a dozer blade on the front to push things out of the way, cut small holes in the sides about 2 feet wide and about 5 inches big, big enough to fire or through things outoff. Cover windows up with metal with a good gap to see through. Cut a hole in the roof of the back of the truck with a ladder conected to it for escape purposes.

eighthly: load the truck up with all the supplys and people and hed to a city called boscome, which has a very highly stocked gun store and collect as much guns and ammo.

ninethly: go back to the truck and drive back to ASDAS as it is really safe in the offices and back yard.

Finnaly: defend the area with your life otherwise your life will be the living deads life!

Thanks for reading! :D

that's a mighty heavy plan you got there.... i just hope you take into consideration all the other people you'll have to fight for the supplies and asda building. also, the amount of traffic on roads will be astronomical...almost at a stand still because thousands of people will get in their car and head out of town. Your truck might be large enough to plow through some other cars but how long will that last without getting raided by your own human counterparts? what other road blocks will be in your way? Are you willing to plow through people on foot who have ditched their own cars? when you leave town for the gun store, will it already have been raided? and when you get back from the gun store, will asda be secure and/or still standing? there are too many dangerous variables in your plan for me to think it is a good idea...no offense. It would be a good plan if it were "plan c" or maybe even "plan d".

Plan A should consist of lots of pre-gathering of supplies. Everything you should need, you will already have in your place of residence. Depending on the size of the outbreak of zombies, you should consider staying in your place of residence. and then go from there....but only if you consider all factors of the human condition as well as the "zombie condition".

It's good, but it would be better if ASDA carried guns and hardware, like the American and Canadian (just hunting rifles in Canada, but still) Wal-Marts.

My advice would be to stay in a low-key safehouse until a lot of people had already died, so there would be less competition for supplies. (Sadistic as that may sound) If the army had cleared a few of the streets to get personnel through, that would be a bonus.

true, that woul be a goid thing to have but the ASDA shopping centre is more of a place that sells mainly food and drink products and several household items such as t.v's. But if they sold guns such as the walmart in america it would be sorted!
