What are the best barracades you can find in your home?

Personally i think it would have to be inside doors and cupboard doors anything strong and that can be nailed against the wall.

I think a good idea is get as much supplies as you can and barracade your house and hide in the loft, rope ladders would be ace for that situation, easy to deploy and with zombie strenght virtually impossible to climb.

I disagree, although only slightly. The inside doors should be kept intact unless there is no other alternative. Any other doors, such as closet doors and cabinet doors, and any other large sturdy chunks of furniture (i.e. bookcases, dressers, table tops and legs, chairs, desks, etc) should be used to fortify the actual doors and windows of the home. All room doors should be kept in place in the event of a breach. Any additional barrier is better then nothing, unless you have a solid escape plan involving only or two rooms of the house and can fortify those accordingly.

Copy, that! Although, you must make sure that when barricading yourself against undead intruders that you are not barricading yourself in. You must have a way out. Up is good. Rope ladders are great. Hiding in a loft is only good if you have a way to get outside (attic windows, roof access, sledge hammers to create a hole to the roof, etc)

Whilst in the loft, if you live in attached houses you can get out onto the roof and take tiles off other roofs for escape routes and supplies.
