Anyone a fan of Goblin, the Italian prog-rock band that did the soundtrack to the Dario Argento version of Dawn of the Dead?

I'm not. I think it's silly and that Romero's original soundtrack kicked major ass. But I know not everyone out there agrees with me - and some people are bigger fans of Goblin than of zombie movies, so I suppose their vote counts.

I say, Boo to Dario Argento and his Goblin. Romero's Dawn of the Dead was the best.

I thought Goblin did a wonderful job on their soundtrack. Argento tried to take "Dawn of the Dead", delete the "funny bits" and make it a more serious movie. But, though I do love both, I'm still partial to Romero's vision of "Dawn".

And here's a cool bit of trivia. The voice of the "attention shoppers" bit was done by Romero's wife. Coolness. 8)
