There are a lot of release dates being given for this book, but in an interview with Max Brooks (where he discusses the new GN) over at ComicMix.com, he says October 2008, from Avatar Press, and Random House, where it’s currently available for pre-order, says it will be out on January 6, 2009. I’m guessing (only guessing here) that one will release a softcover, and the other the hardcover. This happens pretty often between the book and comic direct markets. We’ll just have to wait and see.
