Re: where does zombie come from?

Zombies are infected humans. They get infected by gettin' bit by a zombie. If you reffer to the first zombies, they come from an airbone infection. When the virus is unleashed. Then, other people will get infected by other zombies. Zombies are no more humans. They are corpses used by that virus. And the only way to "kill" a zombie is to destroy the brain or cut the head off.

Sorry for my poor English

Open, or closed?

I've heard some very good arguments for keeping internal doors in place rather than using them for barricades, but I have to ask- Should they be left open, or closed?

If ~20 zombies were to break into your front door, it would be helpful to have doors open so you can get through the house and evade them faster, yet closed doors would slow them down if they broke through a back or side entrance... ...

What are the best barracades you can find in your home?

Personally i think it would have to be inside doors and cupboard doors anything strong and that can be nailed against the wall.

I think a good idea is get as much supplies as you can and barracade your house and hide in the loft, rope ladders would be ace for that situation, easy to deploy and with zombie strenght virtually impossible to climb.

Ten WORST Things to Do During a Zombie Outbreak

Greetings, Zombiephiles...I'd noticed how many homegrown Zombie guides have cropped up across the internet...good for them, and good for us. Knowledge is power.

One thing I noticed, though: most guides only cover things you should do during a zombie outbreak - but none of them cover things you shouldn't do during a zombie invasion.

Now, my thinking is this: doing what you should do won't necessarily keep you alive, but doing what you shouldn't do ...

Best Dog Breeds VS Zombies

Alright folks, this one's gonna be good.

We've seen plenty of dogs in zombie movies - from that rascally dog in the Dawn of the Dead Remake to the Zombie Dogs from Resident Evil, we just can't seem to shake the thought of man's best friend going AWOL.

Here's my thinking, though - in the event of a zombie invasion, dogs could very quickly and easily revert to their natural physical dominance in a situation ...

Top Ten Zombie-Killin' Weapons In YOUR Home

Now, Chester MacArthur knows that you don't have time to worry about zombie defense and preparation against zombies. I know that. I mean, Chester knows that.

But when the zombies come, what zombie-killin' weapon are you going to reach for? Assuming you don't have a shotgun for killing zombies next to your bed like me? Normal, everyday Americans might not have the wisdom to own multiple shotguns and anti-zombie weapons.

That's why I assembled my ...

Single Story Homes

Any thoughts on defense of single story homes? I live in a ranch-style home on a relatively busy street and I have to confess - the prospect of facing down hundreds of zombies from my living room isn't appealing.

Lots of houses in the U.S. and abroad are single story homes - what kind of preparation should we take against zombies?

When being to safe is what kills you.

I live in fear that when the zombie threats happens, that I'll focus all my preparation on securing my home, with no back up plan in sight. Sure the windows and doors are boarded up, I have food for weeks, but what happens in moths? What happens if boards aren't enough? They come crashing in, where do I and my loved ones go? Any ideas? How have you been preparing?
