What Will The Outbreak Be?
Greetings my fellow Zombiephiles,
So, as the subject suggests, what do you think the eventual outbreak will be? Let me elaborate: I totally believe that when the Zombie Apocalypse happens, it's going to be a la 28 Days Later kind of deal. Meaning I believe that it's going to be a virus that unleashes the "zombies". I can't see the actual dead rising back to unlife. Though, I'd absolutely rather have it be that the ...

The best thing about zombie outbreaks.
I like to be an optimist at all times. That is why i decided to start a thread about all the good things that could come out of a zombie outbreak. First of all, i think it would be much like the Black Death plague. That really thinned the heard in Europe, and i think zombies could do the same for us. Here are just a few groups i think wont make it, but perhaps ...

Re: Zombies are here and you're stuck in gridlock
ok, i've made trips like that before to go on a holiday, just about 400 miles drive lol, so let's see, probabilities are, im with my dad, step-mom, little brother and maybe grandma (this is if i was back in my country on summer vacation). Screw that, i'd get on a bike if there was one around, if not run ahead or get out of the highway, or crazy like my dad is, he would ...

Re: Zombie Survival Scenario
Here's my scenario:
I search the house for anything usefull, the other guy is looking for a safe exit point of the house,to get out of this hell, unseen.
I found a pump-action shotgun and some ammo for it. Also found 4 bear traps, one small TNT pack, and in the basement,a radio(the house was owned by a hunter).
We set a trap in the house.
I started the radio, loud,to bring the zombies intro the house.
We placed the ...

Zombies and their relationship to dogs
My friend and I were having a debate about zombies and how they interact with dogs.
He says on "Dawn of the Dead" that zombies tend to stay away from dogs. However, I have seen zombie dogs in lots of different types of media so to me it doesn't seem to be a firm rule. This debate was started after someone mentioned that they could cut off a dogs skin and put it around their ...

detection
Yes we've heard of dogs and other domesticated/wild animals freaking out when infected (even non-zombiefied yet) individuals approach. What about insects? "Infection from insect bites such as from mosquitoes can also he discounted.Experiments have proven that all parasitic insects can sense and will reject an infected host 100 percent of the time." Could we use jarred mosquitoes for testing of possibly infected individuals?

8 Habits of Highly Effective Zombies
Persistence and An Insatiable Hunger for Life (Probably Yours!) -
It’s easy to admire zombies; they know exactly what they want and they go all out for it. A good zombie will do whatever it takes, whether that means breaking a window, clawing through a door or following your delicious brain smell for 500 miles just so they can sink their teeth in grey matter. Even if it means ...

Zombies: Risen Dead Vs. Contagious Virus
Here's one of the age-old zombieness questions - is Zombieness a sort of "return of the dead," like we saw with George Romero's original Night of the Living Dead, or is it more like the sort of contagion that we see in the new remake of Day of the Dead or, more notable, 28 Days Later?

What Have We All Learned From Zombie Flicks?
We've seen some good zombie movies, and some bad ones too. But I think we can learn from both, what and what not to do, when zombies are knocking at your door. What have YOU learned?
I've learned to definitely NOT go and investigate strange noises, and/or keep away from shadows/dark corners!
