Apparently people at Valve and the Australian game classification board have been reading this zombie blog, because they've gone ahead and approved a modified version of Left 4 Dead 2 for sale in Australia.

Fans of the wildly popular zombie game will recall that the Australian game classification board had refused the game for classification citing realistic, high-impact violence. Not to be deterred, Valve developers quickly got to work modifying the game, removing some of the elements that the game classification board cited as among the most inappropriate, including "decapitations, dismemberment, wound detail, or piles of bodies lying about the environment."]]></description>
