A great book. I haven't been able to find the second one at any local bookstores, but I may go ahead and order it online.

Thanks, Sean. I was completely against thinking/feeling zombies in a serious novel until I read the second book in this series. The first one was so good, I caved in, and I'm glad I did.

The only other book with thinking/feeling zombies that I enjoyed was Breathers by S.G. Browne. http://sgbrowne.com/ I was just coming around to zombie comedy at the time, so I liked the zombie, Andy, and all his antics. (I suppose Zombie Haiku by Mecum counts too.)

I still dislike the thinking zombies that are a result of demon-possession or aliens, etc. However, since I can't get enough zombie literature, I am relenting more every day.

mmm- thinking zombies eh - in years gone by we would have starting lighting the fires ready for the those who speak heresy but it is an interesting idea. Thanks for the review - I'm gonna give it a try.

I have always been a "chop him up before they turn kind of guy" - maybe I need to mend my ways :o)
