Coming Soon: Devil’s Crossing (a Zombie Western!)

Guys just wanted to let you know about an up-and-coming zombie western flick. Should be out around April.

Devil’s Crossing will eat you alive. Blood, guts, explosions and that’s before the zombies even arrive. What happens when the devil raises hell in a town already soaked to the brim in evil? Try fighting flesh-eating zombies with a puny six-shooter – that’s damn near impossible. It takes shotguns and black powder once you start crossing the devil.

Nuclear war has ravaged the world. The remnants of humanity fight to survive, taking refuge in bleak settlements. The undead wander the earth, slaves to their bloodlust, or perhaps some higher power? The tattered town of Celestial sets the stage for the greatest battle of the New Dark Age! A score that must be settled and a reckoning that has been 235 years in the making…

Shadrach is a man who watched his life burnt to the ground. Left for dead, he sold his soul to the devil with his last dying breath. A slave to the devil, he was born again as a “Soul Collector”. Now, centuries later, Shadrach fights to be freed from the chains of the demons that torment him. To regain his soul and save the lives of an entire town he must fight the living dead as hell literally rises from beneath!

Devil’s Crossing is independently funded and based almost entirely out of Charlotte, North Carolina. The filming took place in Love Valley, NC – a western town with a true cowboy style. The southeast has a distinct and vibrant film community that is more than capable of making high-quality films outside of the limelight of Hollywood. Devil’s Crossing has tapped into the amazing film community in North Carolina to quickly assemble a talented local cast and crew.

The director, James Ryan Gary, delivers his intensity and passion for zombies through this one-of-a-kind zombie masterpiece. Working alongside producer Paul Streiner, the two have collaborated to put together something truly amazing. Streiner directed “Zombie Kings” which won best short at Indie Fest USA 2009 and has worked on various other film projects. The cast for Devil’s Crossing features some incredible talent, primarily from the state of North Carolina. Louise, played by Patrick Keenan is featured in movies such as “The Blindside” and “The Patriot”.
